I've been an online tutor for almost 3 years. Having recently taken the M23 exams, I'm able to provide tips and tricks to help solve recent exam questions. My students tell me that I have a gift in making challenging topics easy to understand, remember, and apply. I base most of my teaching on past papers questions to make sure that my students not only comprehend the material but also learn the skills needed to be able to solve the questions on their own.

Standard tutoring rate per hour:

50 GBP per hour, or
45 GBP per hour if you book 6+ hours in one payment.

"During tutoring, she goes over the topic using slides, explaining each formula and its context. Later, we carry out practice questions where she gives me time to try and see how I'd solve it, and I give my answer, and she points out areas where my understanding could have been better! This is incredibly useful for me because, rather than simply asking questions, she looks at how I solved the problem and what assumptions or beliefs I had that led me to the solution. This makes me feel more encouraged to look at different things. Because she is a really nice and welcoming person, I didn't feel too 'shy' or 'scared' to ask because she has gone through the IB and understands what preconceptions people may have.
